Providing Academic Support

Posted on by YFC Seattle

Due to the pandemic, our programs for this year have also shifted to meet growing needs in our community.

Students who would normally be attending classes in a school are now learning onlilne in front of a computer screen at home. This has created a new set of challenges for an already tumulteous year. In order to support the students in the communites where we serve, we're hosting small groups of students in our communities at our minsitry sites to provide academic support. These enviroments will be socially distanced with limited spots available and all participants will be required to wear masks for the safety of all in attendance.

During these hours, we'll provide students with tutoring, a reliable internet connection, snacks, and an enviroment in which they can learn.
