Coming Back…Ministering During COVID Continues!

We still don't fully know the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on us and our communities, but we do know that it affected us all! For us it meant a very drastic shift in how we approached ministry in our communities that God has called us to! One of these shifts was that we didn't have any overnight camps for two years.

Well this month, that changed and we finally had our first Winter Camp in 2 years! We all took COVID tests, wore masks, and gathered to create a community hungry to know and learn from each other and Jesus and worship.

And man was it powerful: the prayer, the worship, the laughter, and the learning. Everyone who went had an encounter with Jesus and walked away changed! We still don't know what the future holds, however, we do know that through the unity that was created over this special weekend, we can and still will be able to experience healing and a bit of heaven on this earth! Thank you to everyone who financially supported or prayed for us. It was all felt in the form of love!

  • Now, more than ever, we are experiencing a great deal of anxiety in our students. Pray for peace and healing!
  • Pray against the violence that continues to occur in our schools and neighborhoods. Student fights and gang shootings are happening more than we would care to see. Our Casino Road ministry site has been shot at 3 times.
  • For the students who went to camp. Pray that God would continue to be invited into their day-to-day life and decisions!

  • An amazing camp!
  • Health and safety for everyone even in the midst of violence and a pandemic.
  • For every student and family that we get to do ministry with!
